Old Priorian Golf Day 2019

Friday 14th June 2019 at Ealing Golf Club

The OPA Annual Golf Day was held at Ealing Golf Course on Friday 14th June 2019. 55 Golfers (OPs, Staff and Current Parents) enjoyed some fine play and the weather played a good role too, with only a few showers in the early stages.

The golf was followed by a BBQ and the prize-giving was hosted by professional rugby player, Joe Simpson (OP 2006) – the photo below shows Joe fishing out the “Terror Ball” from the Brent with a couple of his teammates caring for his safety!

The Quinnen Cup for the best Old Priorian Golfer of the Day was this year won jointly by Tom Herbich (OP 1970) and Andrew Wilkie (OP 2008) and it was a pleasure to welcome Ivan Coutinho (OP 1978) to the OPA Golf Day for the first time.

Our thanks go to Tara George and Olivia Davies for all the background work that they have put into arranging in the office and organising on the course such a successful day. Coupled to this are our thanks to Ruaidhre Boyle (Past Parent) forhis help and support for the event.
